Rose Hips, Cut & Sifted, 1/2 LB.
Description
Rose hips are the small, jewel-toned fruits the wild rose leaves behind after the petals have gone. Ours are cut and sifted, ready to scoop straight into a tea ball or muslin bag, no extra prep on your end.
In the cup, they brew up a beautiful ruby-pink with a bright, tart flavor, somewhere between cranberry and a wild apple. Steep them on their own for a clean, fruity tisane, or blend them with hibiscus flowers for a deeper, even more vivid color, with red rose petals for a soft floral note, or with a cinnamon stick and a curl of orange peel for a warming cool-weather cup.
Caffeine free, so they're an easy pick for any time of day, the late-afternoon slowdown, the after-supper sip, the long Sunday read on the porch swing.
Like all of our bulk herbs, these rose hips are sourced from our network of trusted growers, then hand-packed right here on our farm in the Missouri Ozarks. Browse the rest of our bulk herbs, flowers, and berries or our full tea collection for more pairing ideas.
Ingredients: Rose Hips (Rosa canina).

From our farm to your front porch...
We're a family in the Missouri Ozarks, with a deep love for traditional folk skills and good ol' country living. We blend herbs and pack orders by hand, the same way we do most things around here: a little slower, a little more careful, with people we love pitching in. There's a whole story behind Home Folk, and we'd love to share it. Come meet the folks behind your order.
