Misty Morning Tea Blend, 1/4 LB.

Sale price $8.99
Description

There's a particular quiet to early morning, before the house wakes up, and Misty Morning Tea was made for it. This is a bright, caffeine-free blend that gives you a gentle way to greet the day.

Sweet, licorice-like anise star leads the way, softened by the mellow, herbaceous note of mullein leaves and lifted by a bright twist of orange peel. A little red clover rounds it into something floral, and peppermint leaves close it out cool and clean. It's just as welcome as a mid-afternoon pause as it is first thing, so keep it close for whenever you need a small, settling cup.

Like all our teas, Misty Morning is packed right here on our farm. When the evening rolls back around, our Day's End Blend makes a fitting way to end the day, and you'll find the rest of the loose-leaf lineup in our tea collection.

Naturally caffeine-free!

Ingredients: Anise Star, Mullein Leaves, Orange Peel, Red Clover, & Peppermint Leaves.

How to Use

1. Bring a cup of fresh water just to a boil, then take it off the heat.
2. Spoon 1 to 3 teaspoons of the loose blend into a tea strainer or infuser and set it in your mug.
3. Pour the hot water over the herbs.
4. Let it steep a good long while, about 15 minutes. Anise star and orange peel need the time to open up, and mullein steeps slowly.
5. Lift out the strainer, sweeten with a little honey if you like, and settle in.

Ingredients

Anise Star, Mullein Leaves, Orange Peel, Red Clover, & Peppermint Leaves.

Precautions

Misty Morning Tea is gentle for most folks, but a few notes: enjoy anise star in moderation, as large amounts can cause reactions or interact with some medications. Red clover may have blood-thinning effects, so use care if you're on anticoagulants. Because of the peppermint, we don't recommend this blend if you have acid reflux, a hiatal hernia, or stomach ulcers. Not for use during pregnancy.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping & Returns
A quick note before you check out: here's how we get your order from our farm to your front porch, and what to expect along the way.

When We Ship
We ship Monday through Thursday, holidays excepted. Most orders go out the door in 1 to 4 business days. During sales and the holiday rush we may run a little behind, and we appreciate your patience when that happens.

US Shipping Rates
Flat rate shipping is $8.50, and standard US shipping is on us for orders over $89. We send packages through USPS or UPS, and you'll get a tracking number by email the moment your order leaves the warehouse.

A small ask on delivery...
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout and make sure it's somewhere your package can land safely. Once your order is in the carrier's hands, lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages are out of our reach, and the carrier will be your best contact for tracking questions. Hold onto that tracking number, it's your lifeline if anything goes sideways in transit.

Fabric Orders
Because every fabric cut is made just for you, we're unable to accept fabric returns once it's been cut, shipped, washed, or worked with. We know that's a firmer line than we'd like to draw, and we wish we could be more flexible here, but cut yardage simply can't go back on the bolt for the next maker.

Non-Fabric Returns
We accept returns on non-fabric items within 30 days for store credit, provided they are returned in new condition with the original packaging and tags still attached. Return shipping is the customer's to cover.

Items need to arrive free of damage, including pet hair, smoke, perfume, stains, holes, or tears. Once your return arrives at our warehouse, allow up to 5 days for the store credit to be processed.

A few things we can't take back: final sale items marked 50% off or more and grab bags. We also have the right to decline a refund for anything that shows signs of alteration, misuse, or damage, or that was a final sale at the time of purchase.

And one more shipping note: we can't cover lost, stolen, or damaged packages in transit, so please keep that tracking number handy.

How store credit works...
Once your return arrives and we've had a chance to look it over, we'll issue a store credit code equal to the product's value (excluding original shipping and package protection). The code lands in your inbox at the email address you used to order, and it doesn't expire, so you can spend it whenever the right thing catches your eye.

Rooted in Old-Fashioned Traditions

From our farm to your front porch...

We're a family in the Missouri Ozarks, with a deep love for traditional folk skills and good ol' country living. We blend herbs and pack orders by hand, the same way we do most things around here: a little slower, a little more careful, with people we love pitching in. There's a whole story behind Home Folk, and we'd love to share it. Come meet the folks behind your order.
