Elderberry Extract Powder, 1/4 LB.

Sale price $13.95
Description

Elderberry extract powder is a concentrated take on the little dark berry, ground fine and ready to stir into whatever you're making. It carries that deep, jammy berry flavor elderberries are loved for, with a color to match.

Elderberries have long been a staple in country kitchens, put up into syrups and cordials and saved for the colder months. This powder gives you the same berry goodness in a spoonful, no simmering required.

Stir it into smoothies, blend it into juices, whisk it into hot tea, or use it as the base for a homemade syrup. It's caffeine-free and culinary grade, so it folds easily into your daily routine. Sourced from our network of growers and hand-packed at our farm in the Ozarks. A little goes a long way, so start with a small spoonful and find your own measure. You can also keep our whole elderberries on hand for syrup-making days, and the rest of our bulk powders are worth a look while you're at it.

How to Use

Start with 1/2 to 1 teaspoon. Stir it into a smoothie, whisk it into juice or hot tea, or use it as the base for a homemade syrup. Add more to taste once you've found your measure. Keep the powder sealed and dry between uses.

Ingredients

Elderberry Extract Powder (Sambucus nigra), Maltodextrin.

Precautions

Generally safe in moderation. Large amounts may cause mild stomach upset. Only use properly processed elderberry powder, raw or unripe elderberries can be toxic. Those with berry allergies, autoimmune conditions, or taking medications (especially immune-suppressing drugs, diuretics, or diabetes medications) should check with a healthcare provider before use.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping & Returns
A quick note before you check out: here's how we get your order from our farm to your front porch, and what to expect along the way.

When We Ship
We ship Monday through Thursday, holidays excepted. Most orders go out the door in 1 to 4 business days. During sales and the holiday rush we may run a little behind, and we appreciate your patience when that happens.

US Shipping Rates
Flat rate shipping is $8.50, and standard US shipping is on us for orders over $89. We send packages through USPS or UPS, and you'll get a tracking number by email the moment your order leaves the warehouse.

A small ask on delivery...
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout and make sure it's somewhere your package can land safely. Once your order is in the carrier's hands, lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages are out of our reach, and the carrier will be your best contact for tracking questions. Hold onto that tracking number, it's your lifeline if anything goes sideways in transit.

Fabric Orders
Because every fabric cut is made just for you, we're unable to accept fabric returns once it's been cut, shipped, washed, or worked with. We know that's a firmer line than we'd like to draw, and we wish we could be more flexible here, but cut yardage simply can't go back on the bolt for the next maker.

Non-Fabric Returns
We accept returns on non-fabric items within 30 days for store credit, provided they are returned in new condition with the original packaging and tags still attached. Return shipping is the customer's to cover.

Items need to arrive free of damage, including pet hair, smoke, perfume, stains, holes, or tears. Once your return arrives at our warehouse, allow up to 5 days for the store credit to be processed.

A few things we can't take back: final sale items marked 50% off or more and grab bags. We also have the right to decline a refund for anything that shows signs of alteration, misuse, or damage, or that was a final sale at the time of purchase.

And one more shipping note: we can't cover lost, stolen, or damaged packages in transit, so please keep that tracking number handy.

How store credit works...
Once your return arrives and we've had a chance to look it over, we'll issue a store credit code equal to the product's value (excluding original shipping and package protection). The code lands in your inbox at the email address you used to order, and it doesn't expire, so you can spend it whenever the right thing catches your eye.

Rooted in Old-Fashioned Traditions

From our farm to your front porch...

We're a family in the Missouri Ozarks, with a deep love for traditional folk skills and good ol' country living. We blend herbs and pack orders by hand, the same way we do most things around here: a little slower, a little more careful, with people we love pitching in. There's a whole story behind Home Folk, and we'd love to share it. Come meet the folks behind your order.
