Make a Tea:

1. Heat 2 cups of water, remove from heat.
2. Add 2 tablespoons of slippery elm to a tea strainer.
3. Pour water over the herb and steep for a few minutes.
4. Remove strainer and herbs.

Make a poultice: Mix powder with heated water and let cool. Apply to the affected area.
